Medixsan S.r.l., the startup behind Sanitas Italia
Medixsan S.r.l. is an innovative startup developing medical devices for post-operative recovery in aesthetic surgery. Its brand is Sanitas Italia, present in the medical and paramedical sector since 1968.
The starting idea is simple: after surgery, a single product is not enough. Compression, scar care and support for the body's recovery need to be managed together, without the patient having to source each item alone. That is why Medixsan designed patented kits, one for each procedure: breast surgery, liposuction, face lift, abdominoplasty and rhinoseptoplasty.
One kit for each procedure
Each kit brings together, in a single pack, the garment or device specific to the procedure and the supporting products: sterile skin-closure strips, Cicasan emulgel, Drenasan food supplement, sterile gauze and nitrile gloves. The surgeon knows what the patient receives, and the patient has everything needed in the weeks after the operation.

The kits are medical devices compliant with EU Regulation 2017/745 and manufactured in Italy. Medixsan works with a management system certified ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016, and addresses plastic surgeons, clinics and distributors.
